Hundreds of local people have backed the community campaign to Save Warrender Park Road Post Office from closure under Labour's 'Network Change Programme'. Local MSP Mike Pringle and Westminster Spokesperson Fred Mackintosh collected hundreds of signatures to their petition outside the post office. Hundreds more had already signed the petition in the post office during the week. "I am delighted by the support local people are showing for Graham, Jean and the sub post office" said Lib Dem Fred Mackintosh "Marchmont residents clearly find the post office a vital service at the heart of their community. As a former Marchmont resident I know how useful a service it was to my family."
